Xarelto

Xarelto

Xarelto is a blood thinner that is used to combat strokes, deep vein thrombosis (DVT), pulmonary embolism (PE), and blood clots. It is a relatively new drug, approved by the FDA in 2011. However, it has proven to have very serious side effects, including uncontrollable bleeding, which even a doctor is unable to stop.  Xarelto does not have an antidote, and the drug does not require regular blood monitoring tests that may help prevent uncontrolled bleeding.
